We have been hosting events on board the Vogue for more than thirty years. A team dinner for ten or a year-end party for two hundred: leave the logistics to us, and let the Danube, Margaret Bridge and Buda Castle make the evening memorable.

Frequently asked questions
Does the boat sail during the evening?
No. The Vogue is a permanently moored restaurant boat: no timetable, no boarding deadline and no motion. Anyone who arrives late simply joins the rest of the party.
Where can we park?
Right in front of the boat, on the embankment. From Monday to Friday — and on the Saturdays that count as working days in Hungary — parking is chargeable between 08:00 and 22:00. At the weekend it is free. You can also pay by text message: 06‑20/30/70‑763‑0131
Is exclusive use of a space available?
Yes, though it usually comes with a minimum spend on food and drink. If you spend less than that, we invoice the difference as a room hire fee.
How do we pay?
Against our invoice, in cash, by card or by bank transfer within seven days. We ask for a 50% deposit on ordering; the booking becomes final when the deposit arrives.
What happens if we have to cancel?
- Up to 30 calendar days before the event: free of charge.
- 29–20 calendar days before: 30% of the order is invoiced,
- 19–10 calendar days before: 60%,
- 9–5 calendar days before: 90%,
- within the last 5 days: 100%.
Late payment carries interest at twice the prevailing central bank base rate. Between acceptance of the offer and signature of the contract, you may withdraw by paying a sum equal to the cancellation fee.
Can guest numbers still change?
Please send any change to guest numbers or menus no later than seven days before the event; we cannot take later changes into account. Within the final five days, guest numbers may be adjusted by at most 10%.
How late can the evening run?
For dinners, our restaurant is open until 23:00. For dinners with music, we stay open until 02:00.
How long does the buffet stay out?
Under our restaurant’s rules, food is served from the buffet for a maximum of three hours. The same rules mean that food cannot be packed up and taken away. A buffet dinner requires a minimum of 25 guests.
What does the boat provide at no extra cost?
A wireless microphone with stand, an Epson projector, a 16:9 screen, two UHD LCD televisions and the Christmas decoration.

Do we need security staff or a cloakroom?
Above 100 guests, one or two security staff are required depending on the headcount. A cloakroom is available for an additional fee.
